Information we collect
BrillSync collects account information you provide, such as your name, email address, and authentication details managed by our authentication provider. We collect order, subscription, invoice-status, and customer identifiers from our payment provider, but BrillSync does not store full payment-card numbers.
When you create a show, we process the audio file, file name, file type, file size, order reference, processing status, and generated FSEQ delivery. Support messages and operational logs may include the information you choose to send, request identifiers, timestamps, and limited technical details needed to diagnose a problem.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, complete purchases, enforce plan allowances, receive and process audio, deliver generated sequences, send transactional messages, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, improve reliability, and respond to support or privacy requests.
BrillSync does not sell personal information. We do not use uploaded audio to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.
Service providers
BrillSync relies on service providers that process information on our behalf: Supabase for authentication, database, and private storage; Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, invoices, and the billing portal; Resend for transactional email; Netlify for hosting and server functions; and a configured sequence-generation provider for converting authorized audio into FSEQ output.
Each provider receives only the information reasonably needed for its role and is governed by its own privacy and security terms.
Retention
Account, order, and billing records are retained while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute obligations. Uploaded audio and generated files are retained only as needed to provide the service, support active deliveries, and investigate failures. Delivery links expire and may be removed after the displayed delivery window. Logs and support records are retained for a limited operational period unless a longer period is required to resolve an issue or comply with law.
Your choices and rights
You may update basic account details, manage a subscription through the billing portal, or request access, correction, portability, or deletion of personal information by contacting support. Rights vary by location. We may verify that a request comes from the account owner and may retain records that law or legitimate security needs require.
Cookies and local storage
BrillSync uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in and protect the account experience. The service does not require advertising cookies. Hosting and security providers may use essential technical cookies or request signals to operate and protect the site.
Security
We use private storage, row-level database controls, signed and short-lived download URLs, payment-webhook signatures, callback signatures, exact-origin checks, encryption in transit, access controls, and operational monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so use a unique password and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.
Children
BrillSync is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact support.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised, and material changes may also be communicated through the site or email.
